A few years ago I bought the strategy guide to this game for the 360 called "Tales of Vesperia". I didn't get the game until about a year or so ago. This was before before I knew about Namco's "Tales of" series. I got interested in the "Tales of" series after playing "Tales of the Abyss" and I started collecting them. I have about six now, though I still need to beat 3 of them. Anyway, of all of them, Vesperia is my favorite. I like it so much, in fact, I ordered the Japanese exclusive PS3 version and am trying to Platinum it (as in get all the trophies, of which I'm up to 16 of 54). My favorite human character in the game is Rita Mordio. She has the kind of personality I like in a girl. She's also beautiful and a genius and her conversations with Raven are hilarious. My favorite character of all, though, is Repede, the dog party member, because he is a dog. I like that he is a party member while not being an anthro dog or a talking dog, but just a dog. The only thing not dog-like about him is that he uses a knife, but that just makes him cool. That, and he was just such an adorable puppy in First Strike (the prequel anime adaption). I love using him as my character sprite in the Japanese PS3 version because I wasn't able to in the 360 version. The best part about using him as the lead, though, is that when you use the Sorcerer's Ring, the blast looks like it comes from his tail!
Edit: This journal is 3 1/2 years old, but I may as well just mention that I did end up getting the platinum all those years ago
